Customs & Customer Service Specialist (m/f/d)

As a Customs & Customer Service Specialist (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the reliable and legally compliant processing of international goods flows. You will handle import and export customs clearance, manage customs warehouse processes, and coordinate customs-related procedures with customers, government agencies, and internal departments. Your responsibilities include:

• Interacting with and corresponding with customers in German and English
• Order management
• Customs processing (imports/exports and bonded warehouses)
• Reviewing, supplementing, and filing customs declarations
• Processing domestic and international shipments in accordance with customs and export regulations
• Communication with government agencies
• Liaison between customers and operational departments

You bring specialized knowledge and a structured, responsible approach to your work. Your attention to detail and your understanding of customs regulations make you a reliable point of contact. What you should bring to the role:

• A structured and independent work style with a customer-focused approach
• Professionalism when interacting with customers, both over the phone and in writing
• Fluency in spoken and written German and English
• Several years of experience in customs processing and the requirements of a bonded warehouse
• Knowledge of the Atlas and Dakosy GE systems
• Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
• Proficiency with MS Office
