Yes, tik flexibly supports complex shift schedules and custom work hours (full-time/part-time). You can define weekly schedules or rotating shifts.
Can we approve vacation requests?
Yes, there is a digital workflow. Employees request time off via the app or website, and managers are notified and can approve or deny the request with a single click.
How are holidays calculated?
The system automatically takes all public holidays into account. Simply select your state, and the scheduled hours will be automatically adjusted for public holidays (no deductions).
What hardware is required?
No special hardware required. tik runs as a SaaS solution in the cloud. Simply use your employees’ existing PCs, laptops, tablets, or smartphones.
Is my data secure (GDPR)?
Absolutely. We host our services exclusively in ISO 27001-certified data centers in Germany. Regular backups and encrypted data transfer are standard.
Is there a notice period?
No, you can cancel tik at any time. We believe in our product and retain customers through quality, not through restrictive contracts.
How does the DATEV export work?
At the end of the month, you generate a CSV file that exactly matches the DATEV payroll import format. Your tax advisor can import this file directly.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The mobile app also saves bookings offline and automatically syncs them as soon as an internet connection is restored.
Can I create projects?
Yes, employees have the option to not only log their time as "Present," but also to allocate it to specific clients or projects. Ideal for agencies.
How quickly can the system be put into operation?
