Senior Project Manager

On behalf of our Client UPF Denmark we are looking for at highly motivated and engaged Senior Project Manager.

About UPF Denmark ApS
UPF Denmark ApS is a part of the multinational UPF Group. Currently we have 10 offices in 7 countries (Denmark, Finland, Portugal, Mozambique, Angola, Tanzania, Namibia and South Africa) and trusted partners and customers worldwide.
As a full-service logistics provider, we cover everything from a few express pallets, up to large industrial transports with high and heavy “over dimensional” cargo.
We are a fresh company in the project transport market, with a mix of young and experienced staff. Our aim is to expand our team with a Senior Project Manager to bring more experience and know-how to serve our clients with growing demands.

Job description
As a Senior project manager, you will have a great variety of tasks such as, but not limited to:
• High level of independence to develop own segment, and portfolio of clients.
• Commercial responsible for developing and maintaining own portfolio of existing and new clients.
• Responsible for negotiations and making agreements with both clients and suppliers involved in a project.
• Operational responsible for handling own projects/transports and assisting/managing the operational part in larger projects.
• Delivering high quality services to customers.
• Visiting clients and suppliers when required.
• Attending loading operation in ports when required.
• Verifying data accuracy in x-sped and operational documents for own projects.
• Sales and promotion to new clients when times allows it.

Candidate qualifications
• Educational background in the industry of freight forwarding / shipping.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in Danish and English.
• Excellent user in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Motivated by new logistics tasks, in a highly diversified industry.
• Ability to stay organized and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated by results and negotiations on all levels in an organization.
• Self-motivated, but can also work effectively as a team member.
