TMS Application Specialist

We are currently seeking a TMS Application Specialist for an exciting position in Hamburg, Germany.

Responsibilities and Key tasks in role:

• General TMS application development including analysis, programming, and configuration of end user systems – Hereunder facilitation of development work done by third parties
• Service introduction for newly delivered or maintained features, enabling TMS Super, key- and end users and/or service/support teams to fulfil their part of the responsibilities
• Interpretation, investigation, and implementation of features/functions delivered from external parties, targeted towards TMS Super, key- and end users
• Knowledge management targeted towards relevant stakeholders, hereunder TMS Super, key- and end users and/or service/support teams
• Release and change management including, technical and regression tests and documentation hereof
• Creation and maintenance of documentation for relevant features in compliance with the applicable guidelines
• Participation in business case workshops, POCs or other events relevant in relation to the Application Specialist tasks
• Second level support for TMS Super, key and/or end users according to agreed ITIL processes/standards
• Contributing and conforming to a healthy agile way of working internally in the TMS team and in the IT department in its entirety

Professional competencies and knowledge required:

• 2+ years of relevant system knowledge from freight forwarding TMS or services
• Agile development and/or business agility insight and/or skills
• An understanding of service management lifecycles
• Ability to see the bigger picture and your part in it
• A Strong "costumer service" ethic that puts the costumer first
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of respect for the agreed framework and the prioritized tasks

Desired education, training & experience:

• Relevant experience from a similar position or freight forwarding
• SAFE training and/or certification
• Experience with industry relevant processes and ways of working
• Fluent in written and spoken Danish and English
