Senior Developer

The position of "Senior Developer" is the standard position in AE. Job holders are able to fill the job profile of a software developer independently and on their own responsibility. Further development beyond this position must be explicitly desired by the person concerned and he or she must have the technical and social skills to do so.

Tasks

• Independent and autonomous processing of development tasks, even if these are not clearly described and there are no defined procedures in the AE for their implementation
• Creation of the necessary documentation for software development
• Creation of automatic and execution of manual software tests
• Handover of released software components to IT operations and support units
• Error analysis and troubleshooting for productive IT services within the scope of 3rd-level support
• Assumption of conceptual tasks with regard to individual software modules
• Collaboration on conceptual tasks for overall systems in cooperation with experienced software architects

Qualification profile

• completed studies with a focus on computer science or another technical, mathematical field or completed vocational training as an IT specialist
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software development
• confident command of at least one technology stack used in AE
• basic knowledge in the area of software architecture
