We are currently seeking a Sales Executive in shipping for a position in Hamburg. Read more about the position below.
Tasks:
- Selling of end-to-end logistics
- Identification and acquisition of new customer
- Customer support and point of entry on global level including regular customer visits
- Negotiation of short- and long-term agreements including tender negotiations
- Responsibility for customers’ budgets and monitoring of the achievement of same
- Planning and execution of regular business review meetings with customers
- Keeping all relevant customer information updated in Salesforce
Requirements:
- Successfully completed apprenticeship as forwarding or shipping agent or a completed logistics degree
- Minimum 5 years' experience in selling end-to-end logistics
- A high level of customer and service orientation as well as strong communication skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Good MS Office skills are required and initial Salesforce knowledge would be an advantage
- 30% travel activity for the execution of acquisition appointments and offer presentations on site should be calculated in
- High resilience and assertiveness
- High reliability, competence as team worker as well as enjoy direct customer contact.
