Job Summary:
This is an important role to manage the logistics operations of a large existing account with close to 200 staffs and 200,000 sqft of operations. This RDC includes warehousing and value added services supported by dedicated Customer service, IT and logistic analysts.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for cost management - P & L
  • Ensure the required service, quality and efficiency levels are achieved
  • Enforce QHSE policies to ensure safe working environment
  • Establish, maintain & develop strong relationship with clients
  • Act as the clients' “centre of gravity” on implementations & issue resolution
  • Plan & execute regular client meetings to discuss process, issues, mitigations & introduce development opportunities
  • Responsible for budget preparation & monthly billing to customer.
  • Develop creative solutions to both internal & external operational challenges
  • Ensure that client's routine reports including monthly report & internal scorecard are prepared timely & accurately
  • Ensure on time infrastructure in place & SOP compliance in operations
  • Propose and lead improvement projects to improve operational performance Introduce best practice sharing to ensure optimized operations are delivered under the highest service quality
  • Support the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff development, performance and progress;


  • Relevant degree or an equivalent qualification
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills
  • Consistent ability to meet & adhere to deadlines
  • Passion, initiative & result-oriented drive to continuously develop & work with creativity & innovation
  • Solid operational background including supply chain operations – ocean, air & local origin services
  • Advanced proficiency in mgmt. tools including MS Excel, power point, access etc.
