Drawback is the recovery of duty and fees paid by companies that export previously imported, duty paid goods.

Job Description

Account Managers provide comprehensive support to a client’s drawback program. They are responsible for retrieving and analyzing necessary import and export data, calculating claims, and serving as the primary point of contact to address client questions and concerns.

The Account Manager will be dedicated to ongoing, daily responsibilities:

  • Analyze import, export, and production documents and data
  •  Complete data entry, when necessary, to convert data into electronic format 
  • Utilizing Drawback software, process claims, analyze results, and troubleshoot any issues
  • Manage database of client’s import and export trade data
  • Submit documentation to U.S. Customs and complete any verbal and/or written follow up
  • Coordinate with the client verbally and in writing to ensure program compliance

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have
exceptional analytical, written & verbal communication skills with a focus
on superior customer service.

  • Superior organizational and problem solving skills, ability to multitask,
    attention to detail
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Demonstrate, via a quiz, proficiency with Microsoft Excel functions,
    formulas, macros, vlookups, pivot tables, and Access databases
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
  • Ability to comprehend and execute new ideas and concepts quickly
  • Knowledge of CBP compliance and drawback rules & regulations
  • Flexibility with scheduling as demand requires
  • Overall enthusiasm for departmental success through growth and customer
    satisfaction
