We are currently looking for a Production Planner for ALUnited in Tønder. ALUnited has over 45 years of experience in aluminum processing. Specializing in 6000 and 7000 alloys, they create professional and efficient solutions for today's and tomorrow's industry. ALUnited is a reliable partner for customers, employees, and suppliers. Your new responsibilities will include
As a Production Planner, your tasks will be:
- Operating sequence planning for multi-product machines
- Inserting customer data into the system and ensuring material availability for customer releases/calls
- Sending releases/calls to suppliers and tracking timely delivery of materials
- Verifying and managing material availability
- Conducting inventory spot checks
- Informing production about daily customer inquiries
- Making suggestions to reduce working capital (raw materials, finished parts)
What the company expects from you
You should meet the following qualifications:
- At least a bachelor's degree, preferably in logistics
- Experience in production planning, customer service, or disposition
- Problem-solving techniques and practical experience in handling customers, suppliers, and external service providers
- Proactive, loyal team player who thrives in a dynamic environment
- Strong language skills in both English or German (in addition to fluent Danish)
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel. Experience with ERP systems, especially MS Dynamics, is an advantage
